Who is Eligible?

All full-time undergraduate students at Rutgers University (or crosstown) of all disciplines interested in military service, leadership, and professionalism can "cross" into U-8 company.

Crossing Requirements

New Member Intake

NSPR's New Member Intake welcomes candidates through a structured process. New members will engage in team-building lessons, general military science topics, and more! Full disclosure of New Member Intake will be disclosed once a student accepts a Candidacy Package.

NSPR Active Qualification Exam

The Active Qualification Exam (AQE) is a national requirement to become a crossed member of an NSPR company. The AQE will test both candidates and active riflemen in history on General John J. Pershing, NSPR, and other topics in military history.

Service Hours

NSPR is a service-oriented organization. In order to ensure U-8 company is actively giving back to local communities, a minimum of 10 service hours are required per semester of all active Riflemen and candidates.
